Jouri, the little girl who had not yet reached six months of age, was born in Gaza amidst the difficult conditions that children in conflict zones endure. Jouri did not yet understand the meaning of loss, but she witnessed a painful story that reflects the lives of many children who have lost their fathers in wars.

On a sorrowful day, Jouri lost her father in the war on Gaza. This tragedy became a turning point in her life and in her family's. Her mother, who was still in the process of recovering from this catastrophe found herself unable to support Jouri and her siblings. 

In this challenging situation, her older brother became the one who provided for the family, trying to meet their basic needs in the displacement camp they had moved to after losing their home.

The days passed slowly for Jouri and her mother. Jouri, still a small child, was growing up in an environment filled with destruction and fear, but her heart never stopped hoping for a better tomorrow. Despite the difficult circumstances, her mother continued to tell her stories about her father's bravery and sacrifices.

Jouri's family represents the reality of thousands of Palestinian families who have lived through loss during times of war. But they are also a symbol of resilience in the face of adversity. Their hope for a better tomorrow remains strong as they strive with all they have to rebuild their lives despite the pain and suffering.
