Saad is a Palestinian child who lives under the ongoing war in Gaza. At the beginning of the war, Saad al-Din lost his father, who was martyred as a result of heavy bombardment of the area. His father was safe and supportive, but his loss left a deep hole in his little heart. After his father's death,Saad al-Dins family was subjected to harsh conditions as their house was completely destroyed by shelling, leaving them to live as displaced people in shelters. These centres lack the most basic necessities of life and had difficulty providing for their basic needs.

Despite all the loss and suffering  Saad al-Din went through, his little heart was full of hope. He still remembered his father, who always dreamed of seeing him happy and stable. Despite the pain,  Saad al-Din lives in the hope that the war would end and peace would return to Gaza, and he would live a better life with his family.

The story of Saad al-Din  is the story of many Palestinian children who lost loved ones to war, but it also represents hope and resilience in the face of immense suffering.
