Lara Mohammed Talal Bassal was a young girl living in Gaza with her family, facing extremely difficult conditions due to the ongoing war in the region. Lara loved life and had a big dream of becoming a doctor one day, to help patients and alleviate their pain. Despite her young age, she always played with the children in her neighborhood and enjoyed every moment, but her life was deeply affected by the war.

One dark night, while her family was trying to stay safe in their home amidst the bombing and destruction, their house was hit by an airstrike, causing it to collapse on top of them. Lara and her family were trapped under the rubble, with no way to escape.

Luckily, Lara was rescued from under the debris, but she was the only survivor of her family. She was deeply affected by the loss of her loved ones, and her heart was filled with sorrow and grief. Despite the immense sadness, Lara continued to live with the memories of her family and the hope of achieving her dream.

Lara’s story is an example of strength and determination in the face of war, reminding us that children in conflict zones still hold on to their dreams and fight to survive.
