Soul of Souls Association for Relief and Development supports health facilities and restores a water and sanitation system in a shelter in central Gaza.
الموGaza - November 2024
As part of its continued efforts to support displaced families affected by the war, Soul of Souls Association for Relief and Development has restored, equipped and maintained health facilities, in addition to restoring a water and sanitation system in one of the shelters in central Gaza .
This project comes in response to the urgent need to provide basic services to thousands of families who were forced to be displaced from their homes
The centre houses over 150 displaced families with most of them from the areas of Jabalia Camp, Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahia, who took refuge when they were forced to escape in search of safety. The centre has recently suffered from severe deterioration which prompted Soul of Souls to intervene and to provide a healthy and safe environment for the people.
The restoration included improving sanitation facilities and maintaining the water system to ensure access to clean water for all people and restoring the sewage system to prevent disease
One of the project beneficiaries expressed his sincere gratitude by saying: “Our conditions have improved greatly thanks to these efforts. We did not have access to clean water on a regular basis and now we feel much safer thanks to the efforts to improve the sanitation.”
Soul of Souls Association for Relief and Development and its continuing commitment to provide humanitarian support to the affected communities especially in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions that Gaza is going through has been ongoing
The association delivers a series of humanitarian initiatives aimed at alleviating the suffering of the population and supporting them in the face of the crisis.
