Nasser Khaled Mohammed Abu Jarad is a child who lived in the shadow of the ongoing war and conflicts in Gaza. At the beginning of the war, his father was martyred, which left a great impact on the heart of Nasser and his family. After his father's martyrdom, their house was bombed and completely destroyed, causing them to lose everything: their home, their belongings, and their resting places.

As a result of this destruction, Nasser and his family became displaced, moving from one shelter to another in search of safety. These centres were temporary places, full of difficult conditions, where Nasser and his family faced great challenges trying to live in the midst of this tragic reality.

Despite the pain Nasser went through due to the loss of his father and the difficulties of living, his heart was filled with hope that one day the war would end and his family could rebuild their devastated lives. His story is the story of many Palestinian children who have lost their families and homes to wars, but it also represents resilience and undying hope in the face of suffering.
