Ahmed and the Journey of Support

In a humble neighbourhood in Gaza, there is a young boy named Ahmed Riyad Al-Aklouk. Ahmed is fourteen years old, but despite his young age, he carries great responsibility. He had lost his father in a previous war, becoming an orphan and the sole support for his mother and younger sisters.

Ahmed's life was full of challenges and difficulties, but he knew he had an important role to play. He helped his mother with everything, from managing the household to taking care of his younger sisters. Ahmed always dreamed of a better future for himself and his family, and worked hard to provide them with food and clothes, despite the harsh conditions they lived in.

One day, their neighbourhood was hit by heavy bombing, and they had to flee and take shelter. Ahmed was the one who reassured his mother and sisters, telling them that they would stay together and that they must remain patient and hopeful. "Don’t be afraid, we’ll always be together. We are strong, and we will never lose hope," Ahmed said firmly, despite the fear that gripped his heart.

In those moments, Ahmed felt the weight of responsibility on his shoulders, but he knew he had to be the strongest to protect his family. As time passed, the situation gradually began to improve, and Ahmed continued to assist his mother in managing the household and caring for his siblings.

Despite the hardships, Ahmed never stopped studying. He would dedicate a small amount of time each day to reading, dreaming of becoming an engineer or a doctor one day. He knew that education was the key to a better future for him and his family, and nothing could stand in his way as long as he had determination and perseverance.

Ahmed grew up to be a strong young man and achieved his dream of becoming a doctor. He continued his struggle throughout his years of study, always working to improve the lives of his family. He always reminded himself of the days of his childhood and how he had been the sole support for his family during the toughest times.
