Not yet one year old living amidst the difficult conditions the city was facing. Osama Abdullah's father worked far from home in another location, and he would always send messages to his wife and child, hoping to return to them soon.

On October 7, the situation in Gaza deteriorated rapidly. Rockets were falling on the city, and destruction spread everywhere. Abdullah, in his young age, was sleeping in his mother's arms, unaware of what was happening around him. But during these difficult days, his father was not near them.

His father had gone to work in one of the areas that was more exposed to threats and attacks, and he had planned to return soon to see his family. However, at that moment, amid the brutal war, fate struck. He was martyred in one of the attacks while trying to help others during those hard times.

When Abdullah came into this world, he missed the father he had always dreamed of meeting. Although days and years passed, Abdullah's father would forever remain in his heart, that hero he never saw but who would live on in his small memories and his mother's stories.

Today, at the age of one, Abdullah knows through his mother's tales of his father's bravery and kindness, and he wishes to grow up in a better world, hoping to be like his father in courage and sacrifice.
